Back from Chinese New Year, had some fun with compressed air and seeds, and won some money. yay!

It was on a hot and humid (isn't it always) Sunday afternoon. I was down by...well, let's just say it was a lot, but yet..not that much either. Anyway, after one of my cousins' losing streak ended, it seemed that it was my turn. And it looked as if the rainbow after the storm was going to be a black one...

I was on the losing end after much blackjack and Poker. It seemed like it was the end, and the game was about to end without so much as a happy ending for me. And just as one of my cousins, the one who was winning, was leaving the table, I stood up.

"WAIT!", I said. And I issued him a challenge. A one on one game of Texas hold'em. He looked at me, and nodded in agreement. It was definitely win or lose this time.

He dealt the cards. I placed my blind bet on the table.

The first card opened. I stared at my hand, a 7 and a 9. I looked at the first card. It wasn't too favourable for me. I asked to check, but he raised the bet by 20 cents. Since it was just in the early game, I followed. The next card opened.

AH. A nine. But it seemed he liked it too. And he raised the bet by 50 cents. Of course, I followed.

He opened the next card. It was a picture card, though I seem to have forgotten what it was. But all i knew at that point was that...he was happy, and all i had was a nine. He raised the bet by another dollar. All the cards so far were clubs. IF he just had 2 clubs in his hand, it would all be over. However, there were still 2 cards unopened. I didnt want to give up then, and I bluffed.

He opened the next card. A Seven. Two pairs. Not bad. But not enough to beat a flush. He raised the bet by two dollars. And I followed, hoping that he might just fold. Or maybe something would happen.

Only one card remained. With that card, it was either a win or lose for me. The fate of the game was still unclear. He raised his hand, and flipped the last card.

A Seven. That meant that. I had a seven house. A house would definitely beat a flush. But the only thing right now that might beat the house would be a straight flush. It seemed unlikely, though not impossible. He raised the bet by another two dollars. It was either win, or lose. I decided to chance it. I went for 'all in'.

He seemed a bit hesitant, but it was again replaced by a smile on his face. He went All in too. This was it. We both showed our hands. I had my seven house. I looked over at his cards. And looked at the 5 cards opened on the table again. I HAD WON!

It was a nice final match, and it didnt seem like he had a look of regret on his face. It was the end. We shook hands, and parted ways.

Aiyah actually, my winnings were just around 7 dollars nia lah, after breaking even. Or something like that. Oh well. And i come here, going to post, and find Tenshi staring at me with a guitar, and Umineko OP music playing. AND purple boxes with purple fonts and red headings.

Oh man, first it was purple boxes with GREEN fonts. And then it was the black background, with Yuyuko. And now, WHAT'S THIS, PURPLE BOXES AND PURPLE FONTS WITH TENSHI AND UMINEKO MUSIC, AND THE 'JUST GIVE UP AND DIE' NONSENSE!

WHAT KIND OF COMBINATION IS THAT? AWESOME! LOL.

Yea, so now, i have fullfilled my post for the day. YAY!~

AWAY~!
